BREED: German Shepherd Dog
AGE: 8 Years Old
Meet Mya, our latest #NewHope rescue from the ACC. Mya is one of the most gentle, kind hearted souls you’ll ever meet. At 8 Years Old, she is ready to find a home where she can live our her golden years. Mya is great with people and other dogs and we’re pretty sure she wouldn’t mind cats too.
She is a 75 pound German Shepherd Dog
who was surrendered to the shelter when her owners were moving. She’s got some hot spots and dermatitis and a very bad ear infection. She has already taken a trip to the vet while in her foster home and the Dr. says it is all linked to food allergies, and Mya is now on medicated baths, meds and a new diet.
Mya has been an ANGEL in her foster home. She is perfectly crate and potty trained and sleeps through the night. She’s very independent and doesn’t mind lying by herself in another room, but also gets super snuggly and extra excited when her humans come back from work. She’s a breeze on a leash and tolerates absolutely everything – you can pet her, touch her paws, give her a bath and brush her fur without a problem.
