Lizzy came to us an urgent shelter plea; the staff describes her as an angel who’s been calm, sweet and gentle with everyone that came in contact with her.
She is unfortunately heartworm positive, which is not uncommon when people don’t treat their dogs monthly with a preventative… but she’s also … extremely pregnant. Lizzy is due any day and we just could not let her give birth in a shelter cage.
Lizzy is good with everyone and anyone; great with kids because she’s so patient and calm, great with dogs because she’s just too sweet, although we will not test her with a cat while pregnant…we think she may be great with a cat too.
Lizzy will be available for adoption after she’s done nursing, some time in March, however, an adopter may be pre-approved and even involved in her life from this moment going forward. 🙂
Did we mention this lady is extremely well mannered in the house and is potty trained?!! Let’s give this precious soul a home and a family she’s never had!
